LAAAADIES AND GENTLEMENNNN....
In THIS corner is my car, the champion of mountain driving, snow storms, and people shuttling...
In the other corner is the challenger, a bracket, a well-defined local who has been working hard at conditioning the building's air....
Said car *may* have gotten too big for it's Bridgstones (a brand of tire)and was grandstanding, or had its attention diverted to the cute cement post to its left, while backing into it's berth.
The challenger took the opportunity to go in with its power shot when the champion got too close to its steely clutches.
POP!
And the w(h)inner issssss:
Claws of Steel in a Knock Out!
(Note: this happened a week ago. Since then I have taken the poor thing to the auto shop for the back window replacement. Since the car was purchased with fancy-schmancy factory tinted glass, the window order was sent to the dealer. I am still waiting to mend the wounded champion since the glass is still not available.
In the meantime it sits in its parking spot, pride lessened and perhaps alertness a little sharper, warm and cozy while it waits...)
(Special note: The forcast tomorrow is up to 10 inches of snow in the city...good thing the champ is berthed underground in the parking garage.)

Oh dear! Poor car!!!
I'm glad you're back in blogland a little more now, don't understimate how long it takes to recover from the huge changes you've had. I took a whole year out last year just feeling lost!
Putting things off is a great way of saving us the pain of failure, but it's no fun at all in the long run and you'll always wonder. Best of luck in your project and I hope you do 'just do it' :D
Alas! Bad car!
Oh no! Cars can have such an attraction for pillars, walls, garage doors...
